Thousands of youngsters from all over the world will gather from June 26 to 29 in Porec (Croatia) to participate in the anticipated 15th edition of the WKF Youth Training Camp. Karate’s most massive event of the year, the WKF Youth Training Camp, showcases the strength of Karate among youngsters. Promising athletes from ages 10 to 20 will travel to the idyllic Croatian city for four memorable days. Young Karatekas will have the chance to share their passion for the sport and learn from some of the best Karate icons in the world.


This year, the instructors are Olympic Games silver medallist and World Championships runner-up Damian Quintero of Spain; three-time World Champion Douglas Brose of Brazil; Olympic Games bronze medallist Stanislav Horuna of Ukraine; and former European champion Andjelo Kvesic of Croatia. In addition to the categories of U12, U14, Cadet, Junior and U21, this edition of the camp will also have Para-Karate divisions participating. Young para-karatekas from Visually Impaired, Intellectually Impaired and Wheelchair user categories will take part in the event. Over 2600 young participants from 60 countries joined the event last year. The WKF Youth Training Camp reaches its 15th edition, a testament to the popularity of Karate among youngsters.
